Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen scores incredible goal for Denmark

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has been in good form lately, with the Denmark international being announced earlier today as winning Manchester United’s Player of the Month award.

But Eriksen has not only excelled at club level, he has also impressed at international level.

Denmark played Croatia in the Nations League last night.

Croatia took the lead with Borna Sousa scoring his first international goal for the hosts, but it was Eriksen who gave the visitors hope.

The 30-year-old equalized with a stunning long-range shot from outside the box.

He caught the ball at 25 yards and found himself with a lot of space, he took control of the ball, turned and rolled it into the back of the net.

The Danes’ cheers were short-lived, however, as Croatia took the lead two minutes later, with Mayer’s goal proving to be the winner.

Eriksen’s goal was his third since returning to the national team following a cardiac arrest in the Euro 2020 final.

The summer signing has played in all six of United’s Premier League games so far this season, as well as two in the Europa League.

He has registered two assists but has been adapting well to create chances going forward.

After his impressive strike last night, Reds fans are hoping he can do the same for Manchester City when the national team returns.
