A model whose body was dumped outside a Los Angeles hospital after a warehouse party died of a drug overdose has been ruled a homicide.
Christy Giles, 24, had four illicit substances in her blood when she died in November 2021; an autopsy revealed cocaine, fentanyl, ketamine, and GHB – the most famous drug “date rape”.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office also ruled that Gilles’ friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Azola, 26, had a fatal overdose at the same party, People magazine reported.
Cabrales-Arzola was dumped outside another Los Angeles hospital the same night as Giles and died two weeks later in a coma.
The coroner’s report said she had drugs including cocaine and ecstasy in her system and died of a drug overdose, as well as multiple organ failures from the drugs she was taking.
Three masked men driving a Toyota Prius with no license plates saw the women dumped. Their families claim they did not voluntarily take the drugs that killed them, but police have yet to comment further on the allegations.

Cabrales-Arzola’s cause of death was ruled to be multiple organ failure and polydrug intoxication, where cocaine, MDMA and other drugs were found in her system.
Pierce’s defense attorney, Jacob Gluckman, previously filed a motion seeking to reduce his bail and release him from jail while using a GPS ankle monitor, according to the New York Post.
Pearce also faces rape charges, one count of raping a comatose or asleep person, and a foreign-object sexual assault charge in connection with a separate incident more than a decade ago.
Investigators also reportedly found a passport and $30,000 in Pierce’s car at the time of his arrest. His defense attorneys argued in late January that Pierce’s bail should be reduced to $100,000 because it was set at $3.4 million.
Both deaths were ruled homicides, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
