Floyd Mayweather is ready to return to the ring.
Mayweather will take part in an eight-round exhibition match against “Dangerous” Don Moore next month in Dubai, according to TMZ Sports.
The actual battle itself will take place on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel.
Mayweather has not played since he faced off with YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition last June. That battle was fought far away and there was no winner.
Mayweather’s last official fight was against Conor McGregor in 2017. The 45-year-old knocked out McGregor in the 10th round in Las Vegas, which officially gave him a perfect 50-0 record. The bout was one of the highest-grossing boxing events in history.
While it doesn’t count, the battle on May 14 is sure to get a lot of attention. Moore, 42, has not played since 2013 — when he beat Raimondo Hernandez to bring his all-time record to 18-0-1. It’s unclear how the contest will be judged, or if a winner will be announced.
These two aren’t the only big names on the card. Former UFC champion Anderson Silva will return to fight Bruno Machado. Former boxing champion Jack Buck will also reportedly compete, but it is unclear who he will fight.
